Program Overview
This 6-month program will focus on developmental mentoring to support veterinary student mentees in career development and professional pursuits in the field of pathology.
Program Goals
- Connect veterinary student mentees to pathologist mentors from outside of their organizations
- Provide a basic framework of mentorship training to mentee and mentor participants
- Support veterinary students interested in entering the pathology field in personal and professional development
- Foster a professional network between pathologists and students
The ACVP Veterinary Student Mentorship Program is not affiliated with any training or residency program, and operates independently of any training institute.
Program Resources
Applications for ACVP Diplomate and Allied Professional members to enroll as a mentor and for veterinary students to enroll as a mentee for the October 1, 2026, – April 1, 2027, program are being accepted July 1 – September 8, 2026.
