REAL ID Required for U.S. Domestic Flights
Beginning Wednesday, May 7, 2025, individuals need a ‘REAL ID’ compliant driver’s license/ID, or another acceptable form of identification, for boarding domestic flights within the US.

Due to increased security for citizens and visitors, the U.S. has updated its policies for visas. Specific information on passport and visa documents required to visit from other countries can be found at this website. If you require a visa to visit the U.S., it is recommended that you apply as soon as possible for the timely processing of your documents.
If you require a personal Letter of Invitation for visa purposes to attend the meeting, contact ACVP.

Health and Safety Precautions
ACVP is committed to the health and safety of all Annual Meeting participants.
We will continue to monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and New Orleans public health guidelines and will implement precautions as required to provide a safe meeting experience for all attendees, presenters, partners, and staff.
ACVP is committed to providing a respectful meeting environment free from harassment, discrimination, retaliation, intimidation, or disruptive behavior for all our members, staff, residents, veterinary and graduate students, speakers, exhibitors, guests, and volunteers, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age or other protected characteristics. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
To ensure the safety of registered attendees and their children, no one under the age of 18 is permitted in the Exhibit Hall or at any Annual Meeting educational sessions, receptions, or other activities. Please plan accordingly.
Audio or video recording is not permitted during the Annual Meeting. Photography of educational content is not permitted without the consent of the speaker. Photography of poster presentations is not permitted without the specific consent of the presenter(s)/author(s). Photography of exhibitor booths and/or equipment is not permitted without the exhibitor’s consent.

Personal Safety and Security
Your safety is important!
- Always remove your meeting badge before leaving the hotel.
- Don’t leave personal property unattended anywhere, anytime.
- Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Avoid wearing headphones or looking at electronic devices while walking, especially outside the hotel.
- Use the buddy system when walking to and from the hotel. If you are alone, consider using a taxi or ride-share service.
- If traveling off-site, let someone know where you are going, when you expect to be back, and how to reach you.
- Use the deadbolt lock on your hotel room door when inside; do not leave the door ajar if you are expecting visitors/guests.
- Practice responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Report any questionable or concerning activity to ACVP or hotel staff. No concern is too small, if you see something, say something.
- If there is an emergency, ask any Annual Meeting staff member or on-site personnel for assistance.
Important Reminder
You may receive phone calls or emails or see websites from unaffiliated organizations and individuals who claim to be acting on behalf of ACVP. Improper solicitation of hotel reservations from any company or housing provider is not approved by the ACVP. Should you book your reservation outside of the ACVP room block, ACVP will not be able to assist you with any issues you may encounter, you solely assume the risks, including additional fees, harsh cancellation policy, lower quality rooms, and in some cases no reservation. To support our efforts to provide you with a quality event, we ask that you book your housing accommodation using only the reservation information for the contracted hotels listed above.
