Examination Overview
The ACVP certifying examination is a two-phase process. Candidates must pass both phases to be certified as Diplomates in either veterinary anatomic or clinical pathology. Â

This informational webinar, presented on February 20, 2025, focuses on the responsibilities of the Certification and Examination Council in the development of the certifying examinations and provides insight to ACVP trainees, Diplomates, and stakeholders on the current state and future direction of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology certifying examinations.

A regularly updated ACVP MyPath account (associated with your ACVP membership or a free customer account) is the best way to ensure receipt of the latest information about the ACVP certifying examinations.
All current veterinary pathology trainees are required to create an ACVP MyPath account with the training information fields completed and maintained throughout their training.
Diplomates: Maintain ACVP membership and keep your contact information up-to-date to receive all communications. Non-member pathology training program coordinators who don’t yet have a MyPath account are encouraged to contact [email protected] for assistance with creating an account that notes your training role and enables targeted communications.
