Veterinary student poster viewing with authors present, and exhibit booths first look!

All meeting attendees are invited and welcome to participate in the kick-off of the 2026 Annual Meeting. Interact with veterinary students presenting scientific posters and visit our exhibitors to find out more about vet path products and services. A complimentary beverage of your choice and light snacks will be offered with the intent for colleagues to make dinner plans on their own, post-celebration! (Additional beverages available for purchase.)

Join us for yoga and meditation during the 2026 ACVP Annual Meeting! Fellow Diplomates, yoga teachers, and meditation experts will lead in-person sessions in the morning before the meeting begins. Classes are designed for beginners but will be appropriate for all yoga and meditation practitioners. Everyone is welcome!

The ACVP Student Engagement Committee invites all veterinary students attending the 2026 Annual Meeting to join us for an ACVP-provided breakfast and networking event, featuring the second annual Pathletes competition. This fun and interactive event offers students the opportunity to connect with committee pathologists, enjoy breakfast, and win prizes. During the event, we will also celebrate various achievements by announcing the Veterinary Student Poster Awards and recognizing the 2026 Mentor of the Year. Pathletes is an inter-institutional, trivia-style competition focused on pathology knowledge. Signs ups for your team to compete in Pathletes are forthcoming. Students are encouraged to register for this no-cost event when registering for the Annual Meeting.

ACVP’s Pathology Training Committee invites pathology trainees to an opportunity to meet and network with board certified pathologists from various job sectors, over a casual ACVP-provided lunch. Attendees will rotate between tables hosted by pathologists to ask questions about their career paths. Attendees are encouraged to connect with pathologists from job sectors they are interested in, as well as exploring ones they may not have previously considered.

Veterinary Students and Residents Forum

The Forum offers an opportunity for current pathology training program residents and faculty to showcase their offerings to interested veterinary students. The informal event, organized by ACVP’s Student Engagement Committee, offers students an opportunity to meet face-to-face with current trainees and faculty, learn more about each program, and ask questions in a relaxed setting. Veterinary pathology programs interested in showcasing can reserve a table by September 15.

Watch for an invitation to the event sent to coordinators currently listed with ACVP as the primary AP or CP contact for their program.
