Mid-Career Excellence Award Nomination Form
The Mid-Career Excellence Award was established in 2012 to recognize three outstanding ACVP Diplomates who contribute exceptional leadership to the veterinary pathology profession by mid-career. Awardees are selected through a nomination process described below. Awards are annual and include $1,000 to further leadership, mentoring, and career goals of the awardee.
Nominations for pathologists who show leadership excellence in research, education, diagnostics, industry, government, or other fields associated with veterinary pathology will be considered. Nomination packets should emphasize leadership qualities. Examples of leadership qualities include integrity; effective mentoring; being a subject matter expert that others in the field seek out as a resource; motivating, uplifting, and challenging others to reach their potential; effective communication; clarity of vision and purpose; promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion; and contribution to projects that push the field of veterinary pathology forward.
Nominations are due by March 1.
