Comments: NIH fellows (combined program) can spend up to 25% training alongside anatomic pathology residents based on mutual agreement by mentors and training director.

Comments: Our cases are mostly primates, sheep, pigs and rodents, but we have ample access to cases for species not present in our vivarium. Although we do not have an ACVP clinical pathology program, we regularly do clinical pathology with our cases (blood smears, impression smears, urinalysis, etc.).

Other Opportunities:
We regularly participate in the JPC Wednesday slide conference, joint conferences with NC State and the Virtual Primate Conference involving the National Primate Centers. Regular training events for the residents and fellows occur weekly.
