Examination Overview

The ACVP certifying examination is a two-phase process that candidates must pass in order to be certified as Diplomates in either veterinary anatomic or clinical pathology.

The ACVP Certifying Examination: Updates, Demystification, and Ways Forward  

This informational webinar, presented on February 20, 2025, focuses on the responsibilities of the Certification and Examination Council in the development of the certifying examinations and provides insight to ACVP trainees, Diplomates, and stakeholders on the current state and future direction of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology certifying examinations.

Important note: This webinar is not meant to provide specific test preparation information for candidates taking the 2025 Phase I or Phase II examinations. Rather, it will focus on current logistical aspects and possible future direction of the examinations.
