Description of Externship:
AbbVie currently offers 6-week long externships to 4th year veterinary students that each consist of three weeks of pathology (anatomic or clinical) followed by three weeks of laboratory animal medicine. These externships are designed to give veterinary students an idea of what industry is like as a career choice. Applicants should inquire during their 3rd year of the veterinary curriculum for participation in the following year.
