Annual Meeting Continuing Education Credits 

ACVP remains committed to serving the educational and networking needs of anatomic pathology and clinical pathology members and non-members at its Annual Meeting.

2024 ACVP/ASVCP Annual Meeting – Seattle, WA The 2024 ACVP/ASVCP Annual Meeting has been approved for the following continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval, with 22 hours available to an individual Annual Meeting attendee.

2024 Annual Meeting – 67 total hours (63.5 hours medical, 3.5 hours non-medical), 22 hours maximum to an individual attendee

ACVP Primate Workshop: Natural Spontaneous Pathology of the Special Senses in Non-Human Primates – 7 hours

ASVCP Workshop: Endocrine Excellence – Navigating the Hormonal Highways – A Workshop on Endocrinopathies – 7 hours

ACVP Workshop: Fleshing out the Foundations of Forensics – 3.75 hours

ACVP Faculty Leadership Workshop: Leading the Way: Exploring Collegial Dynamics Amidst Career Advancement – 3.25 hours of non-medical credit, not applicable for MOC credit

The Davis-Thompson Foundation will provide RACE credit for its workshop, No Guts, No Glory: A Review of Gastrointestinal Tumors, which has been approved for 6.5 hours of RACE credit.

ACVP is also an approved sponsor of continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians in New York State.

All registrants who attend the Annual Meeting or an ACVP or ASVCP workshop will receive an applicable CE certification email from ACVP approximately two weeks after the meeting. U.S. and Canadian attendees wishing to apply for RACE credit for any educational activity must provide state of licensure, license number, and profession (veterinarian or veterinary technician) at the time of registration. 

ACVP Diplomates also may claim 2 Maintenance of Certification credits for each half day of attendance at the Annual Meeting or pre-meeting workshops (for medical program attendance) via the MOC portal. MOC credit for the 2024 Annual Meeting must be reported by 9/30/2025.

2023 ACVP/ASVCP Annual Meeting – Chicago, IL
The 2023 ACVP/ASVCP Annual Meeting and the ACVP and ASVCP pre-meeting workshops have been approved for 86.5 total hours of continuing education in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval, with 22.5 hours available to an individual Annual Meeting attendee, plus additional hours for workshop attendance.

Annual Meeting: 65.5 total hours (62 hours medical, 3.5 hours non-medical), 22.5 hours to an individual attendee

ACVP Primate Workshop: Natural and Spontaneous Pathology of Prosimians – 6.25 hours

ASVCP Workshop: Digital Microscopy Use in Veterinary Clinical Pathology: The Future is Now – 6 hours

ACVP Comparative Pathology Workshop: Contemporary Drug Modalities and Routes: Pathology and Comparative Biology – 3.75 hours

ACVP Women in Pathology SIG Workshop Negotiation in Practice – 2.5 hours

Davis-Thompson Foundation Workshop – 6 hours (RACE credit offered by the Davis-Thompson Foundation)
