ACVP Diplomate Membership

ACVP Diplomate Members are veterinarians who successfully complete the ACVP certifying examination, are accepted into the organization as Diplomates, and maintain active ACVP membership via payment of all required dues.

Diplomate Membership

ACVP Diplomate membership is open to all veterinarians who achieve and maintain ACVP board certification and who pay annual membership dues, as required by the Diplomate membership type.

ACVP membership is good through June 30 (regardless of date of payment for the previous membership year) and must be renewed annually. Payment may be made by logging into your membership record on the ACVP website.

ACVP Diplomates boarded in 2016 or thereafter must meet published Maintenance of Certification every 10 years in order to remain boarded and therefore eligible for Diplomate membership.

To renew your membership, sign in to your ACVP account.

Emeritus members may continue to access the Veterinary Pathology journal electronically. Emeritus membership is voted upon and granted by the Board of Directors at the request of regular members desiring to change their membership status. Board determination in response to an Emeritus Application may take up to six weeks.
