CSU offers a established Integrated Pathology residency training program combined with a graduate degree. This integrated program gives extensive hands-on training in both clinical pathology and anatomical pathology with more advanced training in the trainee’s specialty of choice. The program’s goal is to train a well-rounded, exceptionally trained pathologist that will successfully pass ACVP board examination and will be suited for work in any pathology related field. Our program is dynamic so that the program can be tailored to meet each candidate’s ultimately goals.

The case load at CSU is very high and continues to grow each year. The CSU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (http://dlab.colostate.edu/) is a large state diagnostic lab that is accredited (full service, all species) by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD). It handles the CSU College’s Veterinary medicine cases as well as submissions from state, national and international veterinarians and diagnostic facilities. The laboratory is also a member of the National Animal Health Laboratory Network (NAHLN).
